Quantum gravity is a well-behaved effective field theory below the Planck scale. This talk is an overview of some recent progress in understanding the quantum-induced modifications to Einstein gravity at long distance. The talk aims to emphasize that quantum gravity becomes non-local at low energies. The construction and properties of non-local effective Lagrangians will be introduced along with few applications from cosmology and black hole physics.
