Ulrich Hartl is Director of the Max Planck Institute in Martinsreid.  He is hosted by the Protein Homeostasis theme of the Models to Medicine (M2M) Center of IALS and will speak at 2 pm in LSL2 330 (refreshments at 1:30 pm) on “Chaperone-mediated protein folding.”  

Manajit Hayer-Hartl, also from Max Planck, is co-hosted by the Integrated Plant-Microbe Genomic Systems theme of the Models to Medicine Center of IALS and the Plant Biology graduate program. She will speak at 4 pm in Morrill 222 (refreshments at 3:50 pm) on “Molecular chaperone machineries for the biogenesis of RuBisCo.”
