Abstract:
Recently discovered iron-based superconductors can exhibit a spontaneous breaking of time reversal symmetry. This raises the question of experimental manifestations of this additional broken symmetry. I will demonstrate that it results in the formation of experimentally detectable nontrivial topological solitons. This new kind of soliton can provide an experimental signature of the breaking of time reversal symmetry.
