Abstract:

Since the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012, the LHC has increased its data sample by more than a factor of 10, with a plan for another factor of 30 in the coming decades.  The abundance of data requires sophisticated theoretical analysis in order to uncover the implications of LHC measurements. I will discuss why theorists firmly expect more discoveries at the LHC and the advances in theoretical techniques that will enable these discoveries.
