Visiting Campus

Students interested in applying to the graduate program are strongly encouraged to visit the University. Informal discussions with graduate students and faculty are an invaluable way of getting first-hand knowledge about the educational program and research facilities. Students may visit at their own convenience, and are advised to contact our Graduate Program Secretary (gradmiss@physics.umass.edu) to schedule their visit.

The department strongly encourages such visits and has funds to reimburse, at least in part, travel expenses associated with the visits of accepted applicants. Contact our Graduate Program Secretary (gradmiss@physics.umass.edu) for more information.
