Undergraduate research opportunity

We are looking for an advanced undergraduate assistant to help develop course material for an advanced level laboratory.

We are looking for upper division physics majors to work in the development of the Advanced Graduate Level lab. This will be experimental work. Preferably you have already taken iLab (Phys 440).

This is a position to test run and help develop new experiments for a new class. You will have to perform the lab activities and provide feedback on them. It is a good opportunity to learn new experimental techniques, including Labview.

The position is for a TOTAL of 60 hours, (you can set up the schedule in conjunction with Irene Dujovne). Most of these hours will be lab work, during morning/ early afternoon hours (flexible Monday through Thursday 9-2:30pm or Friday 9-12pm), at a salary of $12/hour.

If interested contact Irene Dujovne at dujovne@physics.umass.edu
