Looking for two (2) upper division physics or astrophysics majors to serve as in-class TAs for Physics 281, Computational Physics, for Fall 2018

There is an opening for two undergraduate teaching assistant positions for Physics 281, Computational Physics. One is for the section taught using Matlab, the other for the section that uses Python. Prerequisites include having successfully completed Physics 281 or the equivalent in a prior semester with a grade of B or higher.

TAs must be available to help students 9:00am - 11:15am Tues/Thurs for the section using Python, and 2:30 - 4:30 pm Tues/Thurs for the section using Matlab. In addition, you will need to set aside time for a weekly meeting, or for grading, for a total of 5 - 10 hours per week.  The salary for this position is $11/hour.
