Lepton Moments and Physics Beyond the Standard Model
William Marciano, Brookhaven National Laboratory
Electromagnetic dipole moments, including magnetic, electric and flavor transition moments, have provided stringent tests of QED and sensitive probes of New Physics. The history and status of those
efforts along with an outlook on future advances will be reviewed. Particular emphasis will be placed on the muon anomalous magnetic moment where a discrepancy between theory and experiment may be a harbinger of New Physics with Supersymmetry the leading candidate
explanation. [Full talk available as PDF.]
