PHY-184: Physics II Lab (Electricity and Magnetism)
Electric deflections using DC and AC voltages. Galvanometers, ammeters, voltmeters and resistors. Wheatstone bridge, potentiometer and voltage divider. Termperature dependence of resistance of a copper wire. Electric field mapping. Resistor-capacitor circuits, Ampere's law - current balance. Charge to mass ratio of electron (e/m). Faraday's law and magnetic field mapping. RC circuits, RLC circuits, DC electric motors.
