Center director Adrian Parsegian, long-time fellow and past president of the BPS, was recently named a fellow of the American Physical Society. His citation reads:" For seminal contributions to biological physics by formulating and measuring forces organizing biological molecules and driving transitions in ionic channels and macromolecules to connect molecular structure, conformation, and function."
