Abstract:

Neutrino physics has seen remarkable progress since the discovery of flavor oscillations in neutrinos. We are now entering the era of precision measurement in neutrino oscillation physics, and the NOvA experiment is playing an important role in this effort. In this talk I will describe the the NOvA detectors and discuss the physics goals and sensitivity of the experiment to various neutrino oscillation parameters. I will end by presenting muon neutrino disappearance and electron neutrino appearance results from NOvA that were published earlier this year.
