Abstract:

The Snowmass 2021 Community Study aims to set the priorities of the HEP community beyond the LHC. Studies of the electroweak physics will figure prominently in this endeavor, since the electroweak sector may be intimately connected to several key questions of particle physics, such as baryogenesis, the nature of dark matter, and the hierarchy problem. I will give an overview of the current status of this sub-field, and then discuss several open questions and studies that are actively being pursued by the U.S. and worldwide community.
