ATLAS Group receives DOE funding

The UMass Physics Department team working on the ATLAS experiment at CERN's Large Hadron Collider has received renewed funding from the US Department of Energy. This funding supports the activities of the entire UMass group, which includes Professor Stephane WIllocq, currently serving as the Lead Physics Coordinator for ATLAS at CERN, along with Profs. Ben Brau, Carlo Dallapiccola, Rafael Coelho Lopes de Sa, and Verena Martinez Outschoorn and their students and postdocs.
