Abstract:
In this seminar, we introduce the current status and future prospect of probing the Higgs Yukawa couplings to up, down, strange and charm quarks. In particular, we will present the direct and indirect methods to probe these couplings. The direct methods are using inclusive Higgs decays with flavor tagging or rare exclusive Higgs decays to a vector meson and a photon. The indirect methods include a global fit of the Higgs data and kinematical distributions. The current bounds allow for large deviations of the light quark Yukawas from their standard model values, which can be resulting in visible effects in future searches.
