Are you interested in exploring undergraduate research opportunities in Physics? These can be explored as an independent study under the guidance of a faculty member, typically for 1 - 3 credits.  This link leads you to a listing of currently available projects in the different research groups in the Physics Department. Read about them, then fill out this form to express your interest in working with a particular faculty member's group. Students learn on the job and prior research experience is generally not needed. Consider applying whether or not you think you might have the related skills.
