This will be an organizational meeting followed by a short presentation.  Lori Goldner from the UMass Physics Department will discuss the "Motion of Cellulose Synthase Complexes in Land Plants."  Lively discussion to follow!

First Ever Five-College Biophysics Research Slam!!!

Monday, December 19, 2016 - 8:30am to 4:00pm

Join us for a scientific jam session designed to connect and engender collaborations between life scientists and researchers who develop and use biophysical tools, imaging techniques, physical measurement, and modeling.  The festivities will begin with breakfast at 8:30 am followed by short talks and posters in the morning. Lunch will be followed by break-out sessions devoted to grant- and project-planning. 
 
There is NO FEE for registration, and meals are included, compliments of an ORD IIW grant.
